TEACHING 

My career as a professor spans more than fifteen years. It began in Brazil, where I taught across a wide span of business management courses, and it continues today in the United States, where I currently teach Principles of Marketing and Global Marketing. I also developed and currently teach a graduate course at the University of Tampa on Authentic Personal Branding —a course rooted in mindfulness. And in every class I teach, no matter the subject, we practice mindfulness together.

 

I've come to see teaching less as filling minds and more as tending a garden. My students are the seeds. My role is to water them and provide good, rich soil: the care and conditions they need to grow. With time and tending, they sprout into beautiful flowers with strong, steady roots: ready to stand tall, weather what comes, and bloom in their own way.

 

That's why my teaching philosophy is built on knowledge, creativity, passion, dedication, joy, and kindness. Knowledge gives students something solid to grow from. Creativity and passion bring the work to life. Dedication keeps me showing up fully for them. And joy and kindness are the sunlight: the warmth that lets real growth happen.

 

Because the goal was never just to teach marketing. It was to help each student grow into who they're becoming.
